Installations

A step by step process that begins with a meeting with the owner of the business or the property. Subsequently we will discuss the necessary needs required to be in compliance with state and federal laws. A design will be drafted and this will be used to make a decision with the property owner on the best system/size needed to accommodate the needs. After details of the design are worked out, an application for a permit will be completed. The install will begin once the permit is awarded. The longest part of the process is awaiting for the permit to be approved which can take anywhere from 5-30 days (times can change depending on how busy the County office is. An average install takes us approximately 6 hours to complete from the time the hole is dug until the tank is completely in the ground, plumbed in, and wired up.

Tank Pump Out

To avoid costly repairs, a good rule of thumb is to have your tanks pumped out about every 3-5 years. The more people that use the facilities, the faster the tank will need to be pumped out. During your quarterly inspections, we will take a sample of the sludge level and give you a notice that states the current level. The pump will start to get clogged and burn up if the sludge level is above 12 inches. Myers Bros. Septics will give you plenty of notice before reaching that level.

Aerobic Septic System

The design of your system will be depended on a few factors. The size or your property will tell us whether you can have a drip or spray field. The square footage of your house, the number of bedrooms, and bathrooms will determine the size of the system you will need to accommodate your family. Myers Bros. Septics can give you a ball park figure on what size tank you will require and if a drip field or spray field is required, but ultimately the design will give us the best information needed to accurately decide which system and tank size will best meet and exceed state and federal requirements.

Repairs

At Myers Bros. Septics we are able to fix and repair any and problems on your aerobic and conventional septic system through our affiliate Absolute Septics. From the smallest repair of a sprinkler to the biggest repair of a complete tank installation we can do it all!

Contracts

Every aerobic and conventional septic system must have a contract for inspection to be completed on it throughout the year per state and county regulations. If you have a new system going into the ground, you are required to have a 2 year maintenance contract. If your system is older you will need just a 1 year maintenance contract. Our Affiliate, Absolute Septics provides the contracts for our installations. Absolute Septics is owned and operated within our family.

Permit

A permit is needed to begin the installation of your aerobic or conventional septic system. In order to get a permit you will need to have a design done for the system you will need on your property. With the design Myers Bros. Septics can help you fill out the paperwork to get the permit or we can fill out the paperwork and submit for the permits ourselves. Once the permit has been approved we can proceed with the septic system installation.
